Recital–The “Concert Music for Strings and Brass” of
Canadian composer and trombonist Ian McDougall
The Beacon Hill Brass joined forces with the Emily Carr String
Quartet and special guests to perform this free concert in the
Unitarian Church's beautiful recital hall. Sponsored by the Canadian
Music Centre as part of their New Music in New Places program.

We provided a brass quintet to accompany this church service.

Canadian College of Performing Arts
We provided a nine-piece show band for the CCPA's
production of “The Boyfriend” at McPherson Playhouse.

Our brass quintet will perform a selection of jazzy
background music for this Victoria Symphony function at Bayview
Residences.

Beacon Hill Park Canada Day Concert
Our annual (this will be the 4th year) Canada Day Concert in the park as part of the City of Victoria Summer Series. We had a great time last year and a good crowd so it should be fun again this year!

Our brass quintet is performing a recital as part of the Comox Valley Youth Music Festival (CYMC): 7:30 - 9:30 pm, July 30 at the Church of St. John the Divine in Courtenay, BC. All are invited!

Market Square Christmas Concerts
We performed three Christmas concerts in Market Square,
downtown Victoria–all concerts from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. We are
deploying three different groups for this series: brass trio, trombone
quartet, and brass quintet.

Seniors Christmas Concert Series
Our festive ensemble (harp, flute, trumpet, horn, and
trombone) performed four Christmas concerts for the seniors at Beacon
Hill Villa, Rose Manor Retirement Residence, Fairfield New Horizons,
and Carlton House of Oak Bay.
