The Beacon Hill Brass is a brass ensemble based in Victoria, BC. The group draws upon some of Canada’s finest musicians, showcasing the stirring sound and repertoire of the contemporary brass and percussion ensemble.
Instrumentation/Group Size
With an extensive library of music to choose from, the Beacon Hill Brass can perform concerts as a large or small ensemble, making it suitable for almost any event, and meeting the requirements of just about any budget.
Brass Ensemble
Our largest group consists of four trumpets, two horns, four trombones, euphonium, tuba, and percussion. It’s suitable for outdoor events, or indoor events where a particularly festive mood is desired.
Brass Quintet
The Beacon Hill Brass uses a “core” brass quintet of two trumpets, horn, trombone, and tuba. This versatile ensemble is ideal for educational or senior’s concerts, weddings, Christmas concerts, recitals, “in-house concerts,” or special events of all kinds.
Brass Trio or Quartet
For those on a tight budget: a quartet of two trumpets and two trombones; or a trio consisting of trumpet, horn, and trombone. These ensembles are great choices for small rooms or more intimate settings, such as, wedding services, Christmas concerts, press releases or announcements, senior’s homes, etc.
Trombone Quartet
This ensemble consisting of four trombones is surprisingly versatile, has a large and varied repertoire, and will entertain and educate you with a fun show that is suitable for all occasions.
